Exceptional Events Tools Webinar

On September 2, 2026, WESTAR-WRAP hosted a national webinar on exceptional events tools, highlighting four resources agencies can use in exceptional events demonstrations. The webinar featured Smokelyze and GAM, developed by Dan Jaffe and Haebum Lee from the University of Washington-Bothell; updated versions of EPA’s EMBER and HYSPLIT tools; and a new capability in EPA’s Fire and Smoke Map to view historical information.
