WESTAR’s Training Program will host this training course for state, local and tribal air quality professional staff working, or planning to work, in the State Implementation Planning (SIP) Program. This 2-day course will provide an overview of State Implementation Plans (SIPs), types of SIPs, components of SIPs, roles and responsibilities, technical data needed, preparation and submittal of SIPs, and what happens after a plan is submitted to EPA. This training course is designed for new Air Quality Planning staff.
WESTAR’s funding and mission limit attendance at WESTAR’s educational opportunities to staff from government air pollution control agencies.
