ABOUT THE TRAINING COURSE
AUDIENCE: This course is intended for new, entry-level stationary source permit engineers, inspectors, regulatory agency staff, and environmental specialists in business and government. The course is designed to provide an overview of Stationary Reciprocating Engines.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Stationary reciprocating engines are used widely for power generation, gas compression, and many other purposes. They are also a significant source of air contaminants and as such are the focus of increased regulation. This course covers reciprocating engine operating theory, both standard and “cutting-edge” emission control technologies, regulations, permit conditions, and inspection procedures.
